I've made 2 of these so far. As a beginner sewist, I must say they are easy to create and I love the options for making them completely unique. I will be making more!
I love the versatility of this top. It's incredibly easy to modify to get exactly the look you're wanting. My kids all think it's awesome, considering their age ranges. . . that's a BIG mama win.

I was looking for a pattern to make something for a 6-year-old great nephew, and the split lizard design on one of the samples inspired me to try to do something related to his love of dinosaurs, as well as Godzilla. I spent a fair amount of time searching online for something I could use to create a template for the shirt and then turning it into an appliqué, but otherwise this was a quick and easy pattern. It's a Christmas gift that I will be mailing off, so I don't know yet about fit nor whether he will like what I created for him. But I had fun with it anyway.
My nephew sewed this up as his 4H project and we are all very pleased. We just wish a layered projector file was put there to make the cutting simpler
Quick easy sew, with great use of colour blocking - perfect if you haven't got much of that feature fabric left!
It was so straight forward I enjoyed making the tee shirt and adding Geko of one and the batman on the other

Nice clear instructions and a versatile pattern make the kids half pipe tee very appealing. It can be personalised very easily and made up quickly. I’m nearly finished with my first one for my 5 yr old grandson with another one traced ready to cut for my 2 yr old granddaughter. This could well become a firm favourite.
