Made this dress in ages 4 and 10 for two of my granddaughters. The fit was great and they loved it. Definitely one to make again and useful for using up small bits of left over fabric

Magic Spin

It’s the Honey made Magic Spin dress for my 3 year old granddaughter and her friend saw it and needed one too! And, of course, Honey made that happen. Sews up very nicely, quick and easy, and the skirt spin is magic. J
Made with two front gores and very true to size. Will keep this one in rotation as long as there’s a need for great spinning skirts!

Great pattern

I have now made 2 of these, and there will certainly be more. The pattern is easy enough to follow and my little girl loves twirling around in these. And it has pockets, always a bonus :)

Such a fun dress!

I had trouble printing at home but had it printed at a print shop! I've made 4 dresses so far. The girls loved twirling in them !! I tried sharing photos but couldn't get them to load!

It's not scary!

I really enjoyed making this dress for my 3 year old granddaughter. It was very easy because of the well thought out instructions, pictures, and YouTube video.

It Was A Hit!

I made this for my granddaughter who is 5 years old and wears a 6-7. She wanted red and pink on one side and princess blue on the other, plus a long dress not to touch the floor so as not to trip over it. I took my time as this was my first and as I progressed I was liking what I saw and then when it came together I was excited. I kept sending pics to our daughter to show her and she loved it and couldn't wait to get it as it was a Christmas gift from Santa. I was Santa's helper. Our granddaughter loved it and she wore it all day Christmas day and when we left she was still wearing it and she loved how she could twirl in it, Thinking of making her another one but with different colours, only ever made a Halloween costume, Snow White and Dracula's Cape. This is a great pattern and I love that you get two dresses in one.

Modified Twirl Dress

I loved sewing this pattern. I did not want to break up fabric on bodice or skirt. I traced bodice as one piece. The 1st dress had side seams only with seam pockets (no photo) The 2nd, I made it a full circle skirt, no seams. But wanted to have pockets so I made single welt pockets on an angle. I did not use the extra panels yet for the extreme twirl. Also made a matching School Cool Doll Dress.

Such a fun twirl!

This dress was extremely easy to make and gave a WOW result. My granddaughter loves The Little Mermaid so I used fabric to mimic her colors using a red She absolutely loved the twirl! I used two panels for this dress. I want to make a rainbow Magic Twirl and will use the 4 panels for that version but 2 was very substantial. It didn’t feel like it needed more at all. Be sure to line up the seam in the bodice with the point of the inner skirt panel and you’ll be so proud of your creation! Have fun with it!

Having so much fun making this magical dress for my daughter❤

Granddaughter loves it!

My GD loves to twirl, and I wanted to make a muslin she could wear. I used the front liner for the front bodice and added a binding to the neckline. For the skirt, I used the back skirt for both front and back. It fits her fine, so I have no problem making the multi fabric version.

Fun little dress!

This dress was a real hit with my niece. She really loved it and had a twirl party for her dad! I used a knit fabric and made the dress according to instructions. I made one mistake mixing up the right to left crossover. Otherwise it was an easy make. I made the largest size and I have to say the sleeves seemed small in proportion to the rest of the dress. Still a cute make.
