I made my first 10 minute gift bag to hold a special Christmas present for my granddaughter. When I was putting all the paper from the other gifts in the recycling on Boxing Day I thought what a waste it was, and how much cotton Christmas fabric I have in my stash. I now have 22 gift bags in production! The pattern is so simple and so adaptable! I’ve increased or decreased the length and width to use up as much of the small pieces as possible.
These bags were a big hit for family and friends this year! I heard “You made this?” More than once!
The pattern made these bags very simple to make and they were so beautiful and easy to wrap presents and provided an extra gift for Christmas.
