I ended up making this a two piece after cutting on the wrong waistline on accident, but I couldn't even be mad about that! It was brilliant, and I am so in love with how it turned out. It was a super fast, super simple pattern to sew, and I was able to easily modify the sizes to fit my measurements. Everything about it made me happy...the bishop sleeves, the off the shoulder top, the roomy pockets, the wider pant legs. I did put elastic in the pants just because I spend time around littles who like to tug, and I didn't want to have an unfortunate event...but I think they would hold up fine without for everyday wear. I really do love everything about this outfit!
Easy to sew as well did some straps to hide the bras straps for work
I loved the idea of a two piece set looking like a romper, it's so practical! I made a shorts length & have been wearing it a LOT! Also you can wear it on the shoulders if you want to. I enjoyed the off shoulder look though when it's hot! Thanks for another fun pattern 🤩
I love my Summer Nights Two Piece Set! I chose to make the flounce top and cut the pants to shorts length. Great pattern with lots and lots of options. Will definitely make a long sleeved version with pants when the weather is cooler. I think a beginner could easily make this set. Check out the youtube site if you prefer visual instructions.

Love this apartment, I've made it as separates so far, and definitely going to make another pair of trousers because they are so insanely comfortable!
Have not made this pattern as yet as we were coming out of Winter in Australia but love the versatility of this pattern . Two items in one . Pants and a top . How versatile is that and economical too. Pants could be made in a lighter weight fabric and would make good summer or fall pj’s . Top would make a nice summery top. With two teenage grand daughters it will get good use .

Quick sew
I don't like the feel or fit of the top on shoulder. The arms just don't fit right doing so. I also don't like the pants without elastic in the waistband, so I put 3/4 inch elastic to keep the pants from falling down all the time. I think this pattern is for young folks, and not an old lady like me. Definitely will not be making another. Sorry.

I made this romper for a client I have never met who lives out of state. I had 3 measurements to go by...chest, waist and hips, she wants a dozen more, lol !! She said it fit her perfectly! Thank you for such an amazing pattern!! Joyce
