I wear this cardigan all the time!! Easy to sew, just need the right fabric. I choose a tan mohair as the primary fabric.
Pattern instructions are great as always. The end result is quite large and heavy despite sizing down and shortening it (I'm 5'1") and I find the hood and tie waist very large. Overall I've been using it around the house but likely wont wear it out anywhere. Maybe would work better in a lighter weight fabric as I used interlock.
This sweater/jacket is an easy grab and go for running to the bus stop or cuddling up on the couch. The hood is very large and i find it pulls the sweater back a bit, though i shortened the length and used a fairly heavy interlock, so it may not do this for others following the pattern length and using a thinner material. It's more casual than I expected but will still get lots of use. As always, I am impressed with the pattern instructions and projector file. Ellie and Mac patterns are my favorite to work with.
It was a "coup de coeur" I was not thinking to be able to do this. I try and I'm very proud! I just made a mistake at the bottom of the hood.

Love the jacket I made. Only thing I don’t love is the pocket placement. They are behind my hips, not at the side of my hips like I would expect.

Made this in fleece and lengthened it to a full length cosy dressing gown for my granddaughters. I've made three so far and found the pattern very easy and no problem to "hack". My three "testers" have all passed the product with flying colours, ;-)
