Relaxed Raglan Romper & Dress Sewing Pattern

This is a great pattern. I made the Raglan Dress Pattern. I love how it turned out.

I’m not a very experienced sewer but this was put together in just a couple of days, once I d cut it out. Between the video tutorial and the written instructions I was able to follow very easily. Next time I’d omit the ‘optional’ interfacing for the neckband which made it impossible to stretch enough but, once I’d removed the interfacing, it was a breeze. I chickened out of buttonholes and used snap fasteners with buttons sewn on for “show”. Literally didn’t want to take this terrific romper off, it’s so comfortable and easy to wear. Thinking of making a long sleeve one for the colder months, now.

Love it!! I made the top and the bottom separately, and have both a skirt and pants to wear!

I took my measurements and used the size guide for which size to make. But it was huge! I had to take several inches off the width. The bodice was too long, and so the the placket came down to my navel (not a good look!). True, I should have checked the length before doing the placket, but it wasn't until I'd attached the shorts that I realised how long it was. But once I'd got it to fit, I was really pleased with the result. It's really comfortable and looks good. I'll probably make another.

As soon as I bought this pattern it was printed out, cut out and sewn within two days. I've since made another in my favourite fabric and it's my go too outfit now on hot days.
I really want to make one for work in the trousers length but I just need to find appropriate material.
I was slightly intimidated by a couple of techniques in this pattern but as always the instructions and you tube tutorial were very helpful and the final result was better than I expected

very easy to follow and oh so fitting!!

The Relaxed Raglan Romper is a great and easy to follow pattern with many options.

I've learnt so much since buying EM patterns! EM gives me the information that I need to get a great fit. Although I am shorter than the drafted size, I need to add an inch to the bodice length and 1.5" to the rise of the pants. I cut the pants to be just below the knee. We're entering Spring in the southern hemisphere and this is going to be a favourite garment for the warmer weather.

Great pattern. Easy to follow instructions . And end result is a comfy outfit ideal for autumn/ winter weather.

I made the cap sleeved version, and am enjoying wearing it. I’m only 5’ tall so shortened the legs by several inches and also ended up shortening the bodice by a couple of inches too. I send poppers for the fastening, and would do so again as far less fiddly than buttons and buttonholes. I will make another one, perhaps a shorts version next time. As with all E&M patterns the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I've made two of these so far and I really enjoy wearing them.

Really great pattern

I finally got around to making mine. It’s cute and I will probably make a long sleeved version for the cooler weather. My first one was sleeveless. I’ve been sewing for a number of years and had somewhat of a hard time getting this one done. I don’t know if it was the directions or if I was I having one of those days. I switched the under placket to the opposite side because I wanted buttons and not snaps. With the under placket being on the side that the directions said to put it on it you had the button holes on the wrong side if you wanted it to button the way a woman’s garment is supposed to, so I had to unpick and do the opposite. Other than that it wasn’t too bad. Hopefully the next one will go together a little bit easier.

Super patron! Quand j'ai eu une hésitation avec la description, j'ai regardé la vidéo et tout s'est eclairci (oui mon anglais est loin d'être parfait et j'ai donc parfois besoin des vidéos pour les termes techniques !)
Un petit bémol juste pour les jambes un peu trop évasées à mon goût mais ça n'est que très personnel ! Au top, je recommande avec la projection !
