Lovely pattern! I made a version with contrast panels only at the front. In my case it was because I was working with scraps and couldn’t eke out more than one side, but it’s also easier to tell front from back when dressing a child quickly. So I would beg for the inclusion of a skirt piece drafted for this purpose, as my frankendrafting was a bit of a kludge. Thanks!
Kids Reversible Dress Pattern
I made this for my 2 year old and she is in love! It was a challenge for me as I'd never made anything this complicated but I really enjoyed it and the instructions were so clear which made it very straightforward to sew. My daughter loves the twirly skirt and calls it her 'special dress'. I love that if one side gets dirty, I can turn it inside out and she can wear the other side!

I made this dress for three of my granddaughters, it was a big hit with all of them. There are a lot of pieces so it takes a while to cut out but it goes together very well. I made the top as shown but just made a single skirt, attached to both bodice layers. I will make it again.
