Fabric Recommendation:

This pattern is designed to be made using knit fabrics.

Skirt: 2 or 4 way 35-50% stretch structured knit, like Ponte, Jacquard, Stretch Denim, Stretch Cord, a thicker Cotton Lycra, or French Terry (ITY, brushed poly, bamboo, etc, won't give the desired effect).

Shorts: 4-way stretch 50% knit fabrics, like Cotton Lycra, Rayon, etc.

love it

made for my Granddaughter..was easy to do and turned out well..

Easy make and approved by my granddaughter!

Such an easy pattern to follow. I made the skirt a little longer than the pattern, as that is what my granddaughter wanted, and added the shorts. The instructions were easy to follow. The skirt made up quite quickly which surprised me and I was very pleased with the results. I liked the fact that the pattern allowed for different shapes as my granddaughter tends to have a larger waist. It fitted her perfectly and she was so pleased with it.

So Cute!

This pattern went together quick and easy. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I would post a picture but my granddaughter took off with it before I could get one!

Perfect for tweens

My Grandaughter loved the pattern from the moment she saw it. Easy to sew .

Mini skirt

Jersey fabrics do not pleat well, so I used a plaid woven cotton for the skirt with a ribbed jersey waistband, producing a crisper finish.
