I’ve made several of these and they are just the perfect garment for our little ones. Pattern requires some advanced beginner sewing knowledge. I plan to make many more!
I decided that I wanted to make clothes for my son... Being that I wanted to him to have something to wear besides the store bought dinos, footballs, and construction patterns. This was my first time sewing anything ever. So, as a complete beginner, who didn't even know how to use a sewing machine or cut a pattern, I was able to follow these instructions and finish my first ever project! The video demonstration was also VERY helpful. It reassured me that I was doing things right when I watched someone else do the steps I would be completing. The romper is everything I wanted: one piece to easily slip on, long sleeves and pants, snaps, cuffs for when he's learning to walk/crawl, they don't get in the way (I did cut out extra cuffs for the sleeves as well). Absolutely perfect! I plan to make 5 more with different fabrics that I bought. He'll be set for this winter!
