What Makes the Harper Everyday Jacket a Must-Sew?
Two Jacket Length Options - Choose the silhouette that best suits your style. The cropped length hits between the waist and high hip for a modern, fashion-forward look that pairs beautifully with high-waisted jeans or skirts. The high hip length provides slightly more coverage and creates a classic everyday jacket you’ll wear season after season.
Two Neckline Styles - Customize your jacket with a crew neckline for a clean, minimal look, or choose the scoop neckline for a softer, more relaxed shape that frames the face beautifully.
Professional Finishes - Harper is designed with thoughtful details that give your handmade jacket a polished result. Flat-felled seams and clean facings provide a neat interior finish, while hemmed sleeves and sleeves with cuffs create a crisp, tailored look. The front zipper keeps the jacket practical and easy to wear.
Optional Back Seam for Fit Adjustments - The optional center back seam not only adds shaping but also makes it easier to perform a swayback adjustment, helping you achieve a better fit through the back if needed.
Optional Patch Pockets - Add functional style with patch pockets in multiple sizes. Place them on the chest for a modern utility look or on the waist for classic everyday functionality.
Designed for Woven Fabrics - Harper is designed specifically for woven fabrics and works beautifully with medium to heavyweight materials such as: Jacquard, Cashmere, Wool and wool blends, Tweed, Faux leather, Suede, Mohair, Corduroy, Velveteen
These fabrics give the jacket structure, warmth, and texture: perfect for transitional weather and layering.
Flexible Files for Every Setup - Your pattern includes layered PDFs in Letter, A4, A0, and projector formats, so you can print and prep your pattern in the way that works best for your sewing space.
Guided Every Step of the Way - with full photo instructions and a step-by-step video sew-along, you’ll feel supported from first cut to final stitch.
Timeless, versatile, and packed with customization options, the Harper Everyday Jacket is the perfect pattern for sewists who love practical pieces with polished style.

Sizes:
This pattern is designed for our Curvy Fit Size Chart, drafted for a height of 5'5"/165.10 cm. We've also included simple instructions to help you adjust the pattern for different heights, ensuring a perfect fit.
ATTENTION: THIS SIZE CHART IS DIFFERENT THAN OUR OTHER SIZE CHARTS. SOME SIZES ARE SPLIT UP IN ORDER TO GET A MORE TRUE TO SIZE FIT FOR EACH SIZE.
