This pattern was very easy to follow. Also love the woven fabric for a change. I wanted the straps to be easier to detach from the front, so I added a button on the front (with a cute flower technique), shortened the straps, added internal elastic with a loop on the end to secure around the button. I knew my niece would be frustrated with a tied knot situation. You know, 2 going on 35. I can’t wait to make it again with some lightweight cotton.
I made the Be Outstanding Overalls for my grandkids - a girl, age 2, and a boy, age 4. They turned out so great and the fit was perfect. I hesitate to sew for littles because their sizing can be all over the place, but Ellie & Mac has the measurements figured out and as long as I can measure the kids, I know I will get a perfect fit!

Easy to follow pattern turned out so cut but found small sizing made age 5 for my 4 Yr old granddaughter and was to short In body but didn't take long to make and enjoy making this very cute outfit
This was so easy to make!! And it was easy to use for a pattern for my boy too and not just my girl! I used it to make a Fourth of July outfit for my son to coordinate with my daughter’s outfit and it turned out so cute!!

A part of the pattern is difficult to trace (only black lines), but furthermore the instructions are easy to follow. A nice overall as result.

Had a great time making these with my granddaughter, she is a novice. We found this pattern really easy and it went together like a dream. We enjoyed making them so much we made another pair in just three hours!! We thought we would time ourselves for fun!!
I made this pattern for my grand-daughter who is 7 but wears a 12. I wanted something that would accommodate her height but still allow for growth. I made two one black on the bottom with a yellow bee pattern on the top. I added a pocket and cuffs on the shorts in the same contrasting print. Very cute.
I had never sewn anything with legs prior to buying this pattern. I've now used it twice to make overalls for my little one, it's easy and fantastic for confident beginners like the pattern indicates. The suggested measurements are spot on. I would definitely recommend this pattern.
