Kids Be Curious Dress Sewing Pattern

This pattern was very easy to follow with step by step instructions and a video tutorial. Will purchase a pattern from this seller again in the future!

I made up this pattern and it turned out beautifully! I used a combo of linen with cotton prints for the ruffles and bodice. I really like that this comes in many growing sizes as I will continue to use this pattern as my granddaughter grows up. My next one will have long sleeves for the winter and I’ll make some matching pants for under the dress to cover bare legs. Love this pattern….thank you for it!

This is the first time I have used a pdf pattern and it was so easy.
I did the long sleeve version with the shoulder flounce in dark green and navy tartan check.
Small changes I made were I made the neckline 1/2 inch higher at front and back. And I put elastic in the sleeve cuffs.
It was a lovely pattern to work from and I’m sure I’ll use it many times both with sleeves and without.
My granddaughter is 2 1/2. I did size 3 and it fits perfectly.

I made this twice. The first time I missed off the top 3 sections of skirt. Entirely my fault. All not lost it fits her as a top. I didn't fancy doing all the frills so left it for a whilej but now made another which is lost in transit because I incorrectly addressed it! I would like to share a photo so going now to web and hopefully this review will end up there. It is a fantastic pattern and Dianah shares the video so well. I love it. X

This is the first Ellie and Mac pattern for woven fabric I have used. I would certainly make it again. I made an age 6 and found it a bit short, the age 2 was fine, but apart from that it was great.

Made this dress for my niece. She lives across the country so I trusted the sizing, and it was perfect! True to size, simple to sew, and stunning results. A glowing review from my 7 year old niece because "she is going to wear it for school picture day!"

This pattern never fails to impress. I get so many compliments when I make one for the grand girls.

I chose this pattern based on my nieces fabric choice which was a unicorn woven. Using a coordinated hot pink trim made the dress so fun! I am a brand new seamstress so made some mistakes and had to re-stitch some areas but so happy with how beautiful this pattern is and how many techniques you can learn if a beginner. Thank you!

I found this pattern absolutely fabulous, with it's versatility, and sizing range. Although I have only made one thing so far, I look forward to creating outfits for both my female grandchildren, one size 2 and the other size 5. The sizing for the 2 yo was absolutely perfect.
