I made my first Collins top with scrap fabrics as a test of my projector, and it is one of my favorite things I've ever made. The instructions were easy to follow, the projector file worked well with layers, and it came together in a few hours over Easter weekend. I wish there was an adults version.
My 4 year old chose this pattern as she loved the pictures on the website. I found the instructions easy to follow and understand. My daughter is tall for her age so I was able to extend the bodice to suit and also allow for extra growing room. I didn't follow the elastic cut guide, but measured the elastic on my daughter for waist and arms. This is because I knew she would not fit within the measurents given. We ended up with such a cute dress that my daughter loves!
Just finished making this dress and it is so cute & so easy! The tutorial is very helpful too. This pattern makes you want to sew another one right away & it encourages all kinds of embellishments & various tweaks. Never thought I'd sew for a child under two years old but now I'm excited to do more!

I purchased this pattern to make dresses for Project dress a Girl. The pattern is just what I wanted because it doesn't use buttons or zippers yet it has sleeves. I have made this dress in two sizes so far. Both turned out very cute and the instructions were very easy to follow. Added patch pockets to the skirt.
