Fabric Recommendation:
This pattern is designed for swim or performance knit fabrics with four way stretch to be used for the swimsuit. The cover up was designed for knit fabrics with 50% four way stretch, but can be made with woven fabric if you size up one size in width.

this pattern was purchased because my granddaughter needed a swim suit just to keep at our place, and she wanted a tankini. It was really easy to convert the one piece into what she asked for.
This pattern is great. My girls love the look and so do I. The steps were easy to follow and the pictures help. I haven’t sewn up the coverup yet. That’s actually in my plans this week but I did cut out the fabric and it’s only 2 pieces for the dress coverup. I love that it’s essentially 2 patterns for 1 price.

You did an amazing job with this pattern. I just wanted a simple swim dress for my granddaughters and your pattern was perfert. Being able to download the pattern and immediately get to work was so helpful. Many years ago, I drafted patterns and made dance wear for my children when they were growing up, but I had taken a very long break from sewing and pursued another career. Now that I am semi-retire, I am sewing again. I really appreciate all the work you put into your designs and would recommend this product even to a beginner. Thank you for all your hard work.

I haven't made the swimsuit from this pattern yet, but I've made the two-piece cover up set. It was super quick and easy and perfect for the summer. The shorts are a great wardrobe staple to wear with lots of things, plus you can make the set in knit or woven fabrics. Perfect for a quick and easy sew 😊
