I have avoided sewing with knit for years after a disaster with a garment. But after watch videos of the half pipe. I was willing to try it again. So glad I did!!! I have made 2 and will make more!
I sewed this tshirt as a sweater.I liked the idea of half for,and my grandchild would have that also hve in her sleeves and her back.Thank you for this idea.My grandchild(13) and het girlfriends love this sweater.
This is a good concept for a top design. It is excellent for small pieces of fabric. Next one i will lengthen it. Gonna make the hooded option next.

I loved the choice to make it as different or as coordinating as you wanted with the quartered panels optional add ons, neckband and sleeves. I do recommend pre washing though incase you end up with differing % of shrinkage in you fabric!

I liked the half pipe tee pattern. I already have 4 more ready to sew! First, the hood instructions are easy. If you are intimidated by hoodies, this is the best pattern choice for a perfect- the-first-time hoodie. There are only a few pattern pieces and uncomplicated design (a plus in my book). The options are endless for this pattern and It is easy to add your own touches. ,For a cooler weather tee one might make it oversize and with a banded waist, or add in a drawstring. a tee pattern. I think this might even work well with patch or kangaroo style lower pockets. This is a great pattern for a broad range of fabrics a super lightweight athletic or heavier stretch knit (a Henley tee) all look beautiful. Easy to follow instructions, easy sew - I definitely give this one five stars!
