Flounce Tee Sewing Pattern

Made as part of a co- ord set with the Good Vibes jogger for my grown up granddaughter. I used a snake pattern cotton jersey that has a nice soft feel on the wrong side. She wanted 3/4 sleeves then changed her mind so I added a long cuff that puffed the sleeve out a bit Gd loves it Very straight forward to make though a beginner may find the frill a bit fiddly to start with.

I love the look of the shirt with the flounce. While making I had to take a good look sewing the flounce the right way. But it still is a quick sew. Had many compliments while wearing it!

The flounce tee is a great pattern to add that bit of extra to your top! Fun and quick sew! Love the different sleeve options!

This was the first time I've used an Ellie and Mac pattern. I used Liberty Viscose jersey to make the size 14.
The fit was just about perfect for me - usually I have to alter body and sleeve lengths as they are usually too long on most other patterns I've used. When I make it again I shall raise the back neckline by about 1 cm.
As an experienced dressmaker, I found the instructions easy to follow, but I believe a less experienced sewer would not have problems following the instructions for this pattern. I shall definitely make this again.
I'm going to try it without the flounce as I think just the yoke detail will also make an interesting Tee. I'm also toying with the idea of adding vertical welt pockets on the front.There are so many possibilities with this excellent pattern.

This make was not attractive, not easy to fit, and not the best to sew.

A true to fit tunic. Medium easy to make. I'll make another as I feel it's a style that looks good on me. I just need to master the sewing of jersey knit fabric on a sewing machine.

Sews together really nicely.

Felt the frill was too big 2nd one I cut it shorter, much better

Flounce Tee Pattern

I love the versatility of this pattern for various seasons and the sleekness of its construction but the neckline seems too high for me. I think it would be nice to provide a couple or three types of necklines with it.

The neck is slightly higher than usual for E&M patterns.

I love this flirty top you can wear it to work or a night out. I made a 3xl with 5% stretch fabric. I normally would make a large or xl with more stretch fabrics. I used a 4xl sleeve because my arms are big . I love this pattern and do see myself making more in my future.

Really lovely and easy to make. I made it in a black stretch velour with long sleeves.

I made myself a pretty top and used lace for the upper part of the shirt on combination with a viscose jersey. Good to follow the descriptions.

I kept the ruffle piece and have added it on the outside of other tees. Having the seam right there where it all joins is really itchy. It probably works for others but i am super sensitive to seams. The fit and drafting was fine, though!

This is such a feminine tee/long sleeve! It adds just that something extra to a top. Love it.
