Meet the Veronik Waistcoat Vest Sewing Pattern: Timeless Tailoring, Modern Flair.
Polished, versatile, and brimming with classic details: the Veronik Waistcoat Vest is the layering piece your wardrobe has been waiting for. Whether styled over a breezy blouse in summer or layered with cozy textures in cooler months, this vest is designed to bring effortless sophistication to any outfit.
Here’s what makes the Veronik Waistcoat Vest a must-make:
Shaping That Flatters: Front and back darts create a sleek, tailored silhouette.
Functional or Faux Pockets: Choose between lapel-style welt pockets for a professional finish or faux welt pockets for a faster sew with the same polished look.
Custom Comfort: An adjustable back strap lets you perfect the fit every time you wear it.
Length Options: Pick between high-hip or hip length to suit your style and wardrobe needs.
Fabric-Friendly: Veronik shines in light to medium-weight woven fabrics. Go with cotton or linen for an easy summer feel, or suiting, jacquard, wool, corduroy, or denim for a polished, cozy look. For the lining, stick to something smooth and lightweight, like silky lining fabric or lightweight poplin.
Flexible Files for Every Setup: Pattern includes layered formats for Letter, A4, A0, and projector — so you can print and prep however you prefer.
Guided Every Step of the Way: With full photo instructions and a step-by-step video sew-along hosted by Lindsey, you’ll feel supported from first cut to final button.

Sizes:
This pattern is designed for our Curvy Fit Size Chart, drafted for a height of 5'5"/165.10 cm. We've also included simple instructions to help you adjust the pattern for different heights, ensuring a perfect fit.
ATTENTION: THIS SIZE CHART IS DIFFERENT THEN OUR OTHER SIZE CHARTS. SOME SIZES ARE SPLIT UP IN ORDER TO GET A MORE TRUE TO SIZE FIT FOR EACH SIZE.
For Example: the previous size XXS is divided in a separate size XXS-A and size XXS-B. You look at your measurements and compare them to the chart to see which size to sew for above bust, bust, waist and hip. You can grade between all sizes.
Fabric Choice is Key:
This pattern is designed with light woven fabrics in mind. Want a breezy summer vibe? Try cotton or linen for the outer shell. Looking for something cozier as the weather cools down? Go for suiting fabrics, jacquard, wool, corduroy, or even denim to create a beautiful layered look. For the lining, you’ll want to choose something smooth and lightweight so it’s not too bulky. Fabrics like lightweight poplin or silky lining materials work perfectly!
