I made this bag out of bonded nylon to use as a carry-on for a trp which made it waterproof. I Added a zipper top and voila it’s wonderful
Absolutely enjoyed making this bag! It has so many different pocket options to choose from. The instructions as always were very clear, I didn’t need to use the video tutorial. Will be making more of these, we used as a beach bag on our recent holiday and it fit so much stuff into it, perfect!

This is a great pattern with great instructions and an online tutorial start to finish. It is very roomy, i use for a beach bag and made it from canvas fabric for both the exterior and the lining.

I made this to take on an all inclusive vacation so that it would collapse and fit in my suitcase. I added a mesh pocket on the front. Worked great. I might shorten the straps if I make it again

I used an old kitesurfing kite that could not be repaired to make us a family beach tote, large enough to carry all our towels and rashguards etc etc. I sewed an inside pocket and lined it with cotton. The kite is 14m/2 so I’ll be able to make quite a few of these! The pattern was great 👍
I made two of them (so far!!). They were presents for Christmas for two friends; big success! I see my friends use them and they are very glad. It’s a really easy pattern……. Next one will be for me!
I made this bag with a few modification for what I wanted and it was such a fast and easy sew. I used a jute coffee bag for the outer and regular cotton quilting fabric for the liner and everything came together so easily. The instructions are excellent and easy to follow. I do recommend this bag for anyone who’s looking to make a simple and functional tote!
I’m fairly new to sewing so this took me awhile but I absolutely love it. It is so sturdy. I won’t be afraid to pack it full when I go to the beach. I may make some for Christmas gifts. Hopefully a little faster each time. I used outdoor material from JoAnn fabrics.
