Made this dress 3xs back to back and loved the pattern. Sewing it was a success with the help of the video.
i am a 5ft8 and 145lb (168cm and 66kg) and used the XL because i prefer looser fits. not dificult to make. i had problems finding clear elastics so i used the conventional way of gathering using the 2 rows of basting stict. love the way it flows when on the move. the design is cute and is modest too!.

I just love this pattern so easy but taught me a few techniques I hadn’t used before as a new sewist. Very easy to modify to suit your shape and preference. I’ve made three now and I’m sure i will make more.

I used a db polyester for the top and sewed in clear elastic at the waistband. The fit is perfect and the gathering can still shift, but is easily adjusted. Maybe a zigzag stitch would help this. I will use this pattern again, thanks!

This is a great dress that can be changed in length as needed. I'm tall but found the three tiers were too much, but two not enough. Just made the final tier a bit shorter and it worked great.
