I've made a couple of these tops and love them. I've also mashed it with the magic twirl skirt bottom and made it into a gorgeous, very comfortable dress.

I made this with lace, that only had a bit of mechanical stretch, so I sized up. Worked perfectly! Nice top
Before making this top, I would never have considered myself to be a wrap over type, but I made it In georgette and as it had no stretch, I cut it two sizes larger and 6cm longer on the body and it worked a treat.
I did the short sleeved version and love it. I lined the sleeves as I didn’t like the fact that you could see the back of the fabric. Two things I don’t like about it : I wish it had called for French seams in the sleeves attachment to the bodice as you can see the seam and looks ugly. Also the peplum part wasn’t full enough for me. Still made for a gorgeous top I am wearing a lot!

I really liked this pattern. It is more complex than the tshirt patterns so you need a little more patience. I made a few changes. I found the torso very short... more like an empire waist so if you're tall like me you'll need to adjust it. I also switched the snaps inside and under the arm to thin ribbon ties like you might see in a robe. If you want tunic length remember to add a few inches. I used a stretch nylon lining and loved it. I think it is better than the cotton knit.

This was so easy to make. I bound the neck line instead of double layer. It was for the summer months. Will be making more.
I had to learn to slow down and really READ the directions, but once I did, this was a nice, easy sew, and the finished product is stunning. I've gotten so many comments on the few Miami tops I've made.

Not sewn up yet, but have copied out my size from the A0 chart. Very pleased with how it’s going to look. Ellie and MAC patterns are always slightly different from the big named pattern providers, so very welcome.

I bought this pattern months ago when I first found E&M.I was intimidated by it because there were so many steps....silly me. They were super easy to follow. And there are so many options, you can make ten tops that will not look the same and still have tons more options!
