Made size 3 and 5 dresses for my 2 granddaughters. Used stretch velvet for bodice and taffeta for the 2 skirts on each dress. Purchased heirloom lace initials for the bodice. These dresses fit perfectly and they were adorable.

What a fun dress to sew! I made it for my great niece with the bodice of black stretch velvet and the tiered skirt of blue, black and gold plaid, with a gold sash. Direction were so easy to follow, it was a success all around!

The dresses are beautiful. I made 2. My granddaughters will look incredible in them.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the pattern does not have advanced tips, such as understitching the bodice lining and lining the flutters. On the first dress I made, I did not think to under-stitch until after I had sewn down the middle back seams, so I could not sew all the way into the corner. On my second dress I did.
