Love this easy pattern

simple and quick to sew with easy instructions. Now made a few of them, they got me back into sewing again and loving it. Also was a great starter to using my new overlocker.
Looks so varied with different fabrics

Great flattering tank

I’ve now made this tank twice for myself and once for my sister and we both loved the results. I did find I needed to add a couple of inches to the strap, which makes the tank longer and creates more space in the armscythe without adding width to the top. But once I did that it was great!

Cute tank!

I measured myself twice and decided to cut a medium. It was very baggy with not much shape, so I converted it into a small. It still felt a bit like a bell, so I took in the sides a bit. These patterns are well written, easy to print and piece together. Can't wait to make another!

Tank top

Easy make but little tight across chest and armhole but will try again as love E&M patterns and especially Diana’s video’s.

An amazing first project. A definite must try for all beginners.

After getting a better sewing machine I decided to take the step into dressmaking. Ellie and Mac were suggested in a Facebook group for plus sized patterns.

I love the idea of a download pattern. It was easy to download and print onto A4, and they way its designed it's also easy to stick together, just make sure you have a good sized area to work on. The instructions are easy to understand and having a YouTube video on how to make it also helps.

I am so pleased with how it turned out, especially as it was my first attempt. I don't own an overlocker but using the zig zag stich, along with a walking foot, made sewing the streach fabric easy.

Looking forward to my next project.

Quick sew

Came together quickly and is very comfortable. It fit a tad on the large side so I took in the sides and back seam.

Nice little tank

Made my first Curved hem tank!
Graded from large top to xl bottom, but next time will not as it’s a bit loose.
Used bands instead of bias for arms and neck holes 😊

First pdf pattern

I have now made two of these curved tank hems. I think the pattern is well written and they’re a good instructions but as a very beginner sewer and new to PDF patterns I have
a few suggestions.First, I would never have been able to print the pattern if it weren’t for help from a friend. I didn’t know that you have to open the pattern with Adobe reader in order to get the layers and I didn’t know where the layers were. I have since discovered that Eli and Mac have a video on printing PDF patterns, but it would have been nice to have a link to that in the tank pattern itself. Secondly since I know nothing about knits , I had trouble deciding what fabric to use. The stretch description is very good, but it didn’t help me know the difference between a cotton jersey, Double brushed poly, spandex or otherwise. The first tank I did was with cotton jersey and although it had the stretch it didn’t really have a very good drape. Since then I have found other articles describing new fabrics and it would be helpful to have seen that before making this shirt. In general this pattern is very well done, and I did learn along the way to do Google searches, but it would be nice to have a few links in the pattern itself for us beginners. These are just small details for a beginner, overall very good pattern.
