- A dress with a faux wrap bodice and pencil skirt
- A faux wrap top that crosses around the waist and hips
Both the top and dress feature easy to sew dolman sleeves. The dress version bodice has a slight batwing style design, while the top is closer fitting at the bust.
An optional center front strap can be added for a fun design as well as to keep the top in place if needed.

This PDF sewing pattern comes in sizes XS - 6XL. This pattern was drafted for our Curvy Fit Size Chart that is drafted for the height of 5’5”/165.10 cm. The instructions include steps for adjusting the pattern for height differences if needed.
Fabric Recommendation:
This pattern is designed to be made using 50%, four-way stretch knit fabrics.
Recommended Fabric Types:
Dress: Liverpool, double knit, texture rubbed flat back hacci, ribbed knit, sweater knits, the fabric should have 4-way stretch with nice recovery.
Sweater: Hacci Sweater Knit, Liverpool, Sweater knits with some recovery, but not overly structured. Waffle knits do not perform well. More structured fabrics fit too snugly.

As always, a fun and flattering sew. This pattern doesn't work as well with jersey so next time I will use a sweater knit.
This is a great top! I’m 5’7” and it was a little long on me, so I shortened my 2nd one. Love it and plan to make some short sleeved for summer!
I recently made the crossover top with long sleeves using cotton jersey fabric. I thought I would have to add a snap to keep it from opening on top, but I was pleasantly surprised. Easy to follow directions. Beautiful design.
This was an easy make and i always follow the youtube videos. It has a lovely fit and i like the length of it. So many style options too. I will make the dress version later when the weather improves.

Crossover Top & Dress Pattern
This is one of my favorite E&M patterns - I love the drape of the dress version. I've made 3 variations so far, one an unmodified dress, one where I made a 5 inch band in place of the skirt and one where I extended the top prices by 5 inched and added an elastic casing to the bottom. They all get a lot of wear!

I've made the Crossover Top twice now, and plan to make more. Just love the easy make and interesting features. I think my favorite part is the crossover at the hem as well as the top.
Another quick and easy E&M pattern. This pattern is a easy sew with great sewing instructions and fit. This top is easy to style with pants, leggings or skirts. Fabric selection can easily change the mood of your finished garment so plan to sew up several versions of this top.

I bought this to make the ivory style top although I made it short sleeved for summer . The others I might make when I loose a bit more weight! I think my hips would look bigger in such a tight skirt ! A pity there’s not another option for the skirt style ? X

I made the tunic in a cream colored knit crepe and it turned out just like the picture. I did no real alterations just made it as is. I probably could have made it shorter because I am 5’3” but I wasn’t sure how it would look and so left it as is. I might shorten it an inch and a half if I make it again. The best thing is that the cross over part lies flat and does not gape. Bravo!
Sews beautifully and the instructions are fairly simple. The sizing is generous in my opinion but other than that i think its a wonderful pattern with so many options. i have even made my sister a dress as a maternity outfit as it goes over her bump beautifully while still being quite a classy dress which is hard to find in RTw maternity clothing.
Made this top twice and I’m glad I did. The first time I made it in a jersey knit which is not a recommended fabric as there is no drape and it took some major alterations to make it wearable. I decided to give it a second chance when the SEWALONG was running and made it in a sweater knit, one of the recommended fabrics. Very happy with this make and I’ll likely make it again but only in the recommended fabrics.
