Made for my hubby out of grey sweatshirt fabric. He loves it and says it's lovely and comfy. Ideal as it has pockets too.
My husband ask to me a jacket and i fond this pattern : was perfect pattern. I dont speak english very well but it is really easy to understand with illustrations. I bought this for my super picky 18 year old son. He wanted a cardigan that would fit him because he is very cold natured but jackets are too heavy. I made them out of plain knits I had here. I made 2 in one afternoon! The pattern is easy and well written. He loves them both! Lol don’t mind the PJs and non matching shirt.

I didn't use the cuff and waist bands, and had to make minor adjustments to the length of everything (tall hubby) but otherwise wonderful pattern!

I used this pattern to make my 8 year old daughter a cardigan, she’s tall 140cm/4ft7. The only change I made was to shorten the sleeve length by 2inches.
Made two of them for my husband. He wore the first one out!! It's was an open weave sweater knit and quite literally fell apart. The second was a waffle and he totally loves it!! Wears it all winter long!! Thanks for the great pattern!

I made this for my husband who is a little under 5’10 and I thought it was a little on the short side in my opinion and by looking at the testers pictures. Otherwise a very easy sew. My first time using a sweater knit, interfacing, and making pockets. Good explanation and used the women’s video for the Chapman as guidance. I will be making the woman’s and kids also.

Hi there. The Straight Fit is based on the male body type and drafted for the height of 5' 10". The Adult Straight Fit is based on the curvy size chart which is based on the female body type and drafted for the height of 5' 5". The kids version is drafted for the child's size chart. I hope this helps.
