I made this pattern for both my two opposite granddaughters. They may be sisters, but the older one only likes sporty clothes and hates dresses; while the younger one refuses to wear anything but dresses! So, I made them each a Book Club. The older one got a top and the little one got a dress; so both were happy!
This was surprisingly easy to sew. I love having the videos for hints and tips to get great results.
I love the design but had a lot of trouble with matching the angles. I may just be me! I will try this one again.
Bought the Book Club top a few months ago. It was such a wonderful pattern, easy to follow and a fabulous way to use up some scraps or old fabric pieces bought years ago when you liked it but didn’t know what to make out of it or didn’t buy enough. Thought this was going to be hard because of the points, but it was pretty easy. And looks great!
I sewed this up in a E&M sew along....., I love the fit. When I figured out how to get good angles it turned out so good. I will be making more of these

I liked the fact I could color block and add my favorite coral color. The pattern adapted easily with the Going home sweater cuff and bands which I liked.

This was a very fun shirt to make, and I was able to pull it together using remnants I had in hand. The shirt is comfortable to wear and looks great, if I say so myself. Highly recommend this for a fun take on a long sleeved tshirt.
