Very simple pattern. I decided to shorten it and make it the same length all the way around. It was essentially a totally different pattern, but it was really helpful to have the dimensions for the waist band and simple instructions to follow, as I'm still learning. I'll definitely make it again, probably in several lengths.

Okay honestly, I haven’t made just the skirt yet, I have fabric ordered to make just a skirt though! But mashing this skirt pattern with another is so easy! I’m a straight up beginner and my first finished project was a South Shore Romper top, with this as a skirt and it’s absolutely stunning. I cannot wait for my new fabric to get delivered to make a skirt!

This was easy to make and I found the instructions straightforward. I just found hemming the hi-low tricky and as you can see quite a large proportion of the hem when the skirt is worn this could be an issue. I have decided to fold up the existing hem again and topstitch once more as I don't have a coverstitch and I don't like the raw edge showing where it is hemmed. Other than that, great!
