Beach Cover Up Sewing Pattern

This is a very cute and easy Cover-up to make. I made mine in an eyelet knit and can see myself making another in a more solid material for a lounge shirt. It was easy to follow the instructions and sew. I am not used to the pdf patterns and I do find that printing and taping are quite tedious, but I am also learning and change is not always easy at first.

Easy sew for woven fabric. Thinking about hacking this into a top.

Made this for my 10 year old. I used the xxs-med pattern and took about 8 inches off the top to make it shorter for her. She absolutely loves that she got to pick out the fabric and fringe. She received multiple compliments on it at the beach. I'm still learning but found this quick and easy.

I used polyester fabric for this so there was so much fraying which made it hard to handle… but the patter itself was easy to follow. I didn’t leave the side opening and am regretting it. As it limits the movement so there were few moments that I wished having more mobility in it. Otherwise overall it was a good sew 🪡

This pattern was an easy sew, the directions were clear and it was serger friendly. It’s also a very comfortable fit. I wear it over my summer shirts on cooler days to keep the wind chill off.

This sewing pattern, and video tutorial were an excellent way to learn how to sew a beginner garment. I have been on a sewing journey for the last two years, and have been scared to start to learn clothing. With this subscription, I feel much more confident on my journey.

This was a fun project, but a bit big for my frame. I cut the neckline for S/M but L for the body. Still pretty big in the neckline. But it still is cute.

This was a quick project. I made 4 of them for the girls in the family that love the beach. Added to it a beach bag to boot. Easy to understand instructions and great ideas for adding something special

This pattern was such a fun and simple make. I made a coverup for my Mom for Mother’s Day and it was a big hit. I found a light gauzy cotton and it was perfect for this pattern. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow. I know I’ll use this pattern a lot!

I made the Beach Cover Up for a trip to the Waterpark, intending to use it in between getting wet and sitting pool side. I never took it off! I wore it in and out of the water all day. It was made from a very lightweight material that dried quickly. Not once did I feel self conscious in my swimsuit. Will make again.

I ve used some sheer very light fabric which was perfect for it. so quick to sew.. took longer to figure out tension for that fabric it s really comfy at the beach
