Be Dreamy Dress Sewing Pattern (adult)

This dress is amazing and yes it's a dream . So not a complicated sew, and the sleeves make this dress Dreamy. I made this for my Nephews Wedding receiving many compliments. Thanks to Ellie and Max I'm loving to sew again.

I made this for my daughter to wear to a wedding we went to in Bali. It was such a quick make and she fell in love with it instantly. It is a flattering design and looks lovely on.

Easy, peasy pattern to assemble, very clear instructions. Fit was as expected for size selected based on pattern specs, though i did my usual bodice lengthening, skirt shortenng adjustments. I used a nice drapy ITY fabric with low contrast between right vs wrong sides since I selected the hi/lo hem, I did carve out some of the length transition from front to back as I wasn't fond of the abrupt change or angle at the side seam hem. Just used my french ruler to create a gentler curve from front to back. I may also add some contrasting foldover elastic at the empire seam to jazz it up some. In future makes I'll do this as piping in the seam vs over it. It's too pretty of a seam shape to lose to my fabric's busy print.

I made this dress with double brushed poly and it feels like pajamas yet looks so elegant. I used the long glitter sleeve for a bit more modesty. It’s lovely! Thank you E&M!

I made a long black Be Dreamy Dress out of ribbed knit for my choir concert and it turned out beautiful. Very flattering and it was so easy to make. Will be making a short one next time.

I've made 2 already!! One in cotton jersey with the hi-low skirt and a maxi in a lightweight polyester fabric, love them both!

Love this dress so much - it will be a wardrobe staple! Managed to squeeze a 5xl (uk size 22) put of a 3m piece of fabric by joining the lining pieces instead of cut on fold. So comfortable and easy to wear.

I used the be dreamy pattern as my Easter dress this year and I absolutely loved it. It was so easy to follow and it came together just the way I imagined!

A beautiful dress and wonderfully easy pattern to follow. I have made two so far. The first one without the flounce and the second with long sleeves for which I changed the armhole pattern. I used scuba fabric for both. I am in love with this pattern. I shall make it long, short, with or without sleeves. I am 4' 11" in height with a large bust, and this style suits my shape so well. Very, very pleased.

Whipped this simple pattern up for my mom for mother's day. She loved it!

I love how this dress turned out. It takes a ton of fabric but is so pretty. I made one for myself and my daughter for Mother’s Day. Pattern was easy to follow. The top is lined which I really like.

I LOVE this dress pattern. I have made it as is and with a few hacks to change up sleeve flounce and bodice length, neckline, and such. I love every single one I've made. I think this dress is very flattering. Big impact, easy sew!!!

This is THE most flattering dress. I’ve made 3 so far! I do the knee-length and can get 1 dress out of 2 yards. Recommendations: save fabric by lining it with something cheaper and matching. Also, the flounce sleeves show their insides a lot, so this dress is best with a 2-sided fabric (unless you don’t mind seeing the non-printed side under the arms and when the sleeves catch the breeze). I’m absolutely making more!

This has become my favourite dress! It’s so easy to dress up with heels or dress down hippie-style with flip-flops… And what a stunner. It’s a real head-turner. Those flounce sleeves are to die for! I love the hi-lo option, it allowed me to eke out a size S out of 2m of fabric by placing one of the bodices on the fold under the front of the skirt!! I advise using fabric with no distinct right or wrong side as the wrong side will be visible in the folds of the flounces and if you use the hi-lo option, through the legs! I also advise (unlike me) measuring your side-waist so the empire line doesn’t ride up around the wrong part of your chest…! ;)

Soooo nice and very easy to put together. Next time I'll make one shorter for everyday life
