I want you to love what you make and have fun making it.
I wanted something that looked nice, but was comfortable to wear to my husband’s grandma’s funeral in July in Texas. All the RTW dresses I looked at were either too short, sleeveless, or too low cut. This pattern was perfect for me. I picked out a black knit with white line-drawn flowers, made it with a high-cut neckline and a maxi length, and it was just what I needed. And it has pockets!
Absolutely love this pattern! It hugs the body in the busy area but gives you lots of room in the tummy and hip area. It’s very feminine and flattering!!!!
I made two of these for myself. I am a plus sized short woman. I did have to shorten the dress, but not unusual for me with dresses. I liked the fit of the dress and felt it looked good on me. I absolutely love the sleeves on this. Next time, I don't think I'll do the high low skirt, but instead use a basic skirt that's below the knee. It was an easy sew and easy pattern to follow.
This is just so me! I fell in love with it and couldn’t wait to make a couple versions of this dress. My all times favorite. Easy instructions as well
I really like the shape of this dress. I lengthened the bodice by 2.5” and added an FBA. I made it as long as my fabric and it looks great. Good clear instructions, and I liked having photos of the end product to refer to. Another win.
