A friend requested for a doll's dress for her daughter and I was delighted to come across this free pattern. It was perfect to use up scraps and easy to follow. Made a little girl very happy. :)
I made this for my granddaughter. She loves it! Now I need to do one for her cousin!
Made this for the designafriend doll of my niece. Didn't have one as a model so sewed blind. Sizing was great, made it in a mermaid pattern material, I'll try and load a pic later. Deviated from the pattern only to make it reversible using a light blue muslin. As I bagged it out, didn't need the binding around the neck or sleeves. Beautiful and my niece lover it!
I use this as a basic pattern and am loving all the dresses I've made with it. They are made for underprivileged children, children with problems who need a doll, and basically any little girl who couldn't otherwise have a doll with a wardrobe.
My granddaughter loved it for her doll and I made a dress in the same fabric for her
