I was looking for a pattern to make something for a 6-year-old great nephew, and the split lizard design on one of the samples inspired me to try to do something related to his love of dinosaurs, as well as Godzilla. I spent a fair amount of time searching online for something I could use to create a template for the shirt and then turning it into an appliqué, but otherwise this was a quick and easy pattern. It's a Christmas gift that I will be mailing off, so I don't know yet about fit nor whether he will like what I created for him. But I had fun with it anyway.
