My favourite blazer pattern I own.....super fast to put together
This is an easy sew and when your done, you have creates an amazing piece. Love the Elevated Blazer.
I had to make adjustment. The pattern is too square, easy to make but it is for someone is beginner or when we want something fast.
I thought being a blazer that this would be quite tricky but the instructions and matching you tube tutorial made it easy like all other Ellie & Mac patterns.
I would say it runs a little big so I did do some alterations to fit me perfectly but that's the beauty of making your own clothes.
Easy to make, fits well if you follow guidelines, looks great!
I have now made 2 of these elevated blazers. I’m about to make a third for my sister. It seemed so complicated when I first looked at it. Yes, there are a lot of parts to cut out and looks scary (I’ve been sewing less than a year) however, the instructions and the helpful YouTube video, made this a project that is not difficult to achieve. I even felt brave enough to grade the pattern. It’s well worth the price, a jacket you’ll be proud to wear
Don't be intimidated by the word "Blazer". This pattern, just as any other of Ellie and Mac's is easy to follow, and quick to sew. It is a ver comfortable, yet formal piece that, as its name says, will elevate any outfit you wear it with.
I absolutely love the fit and I need to make no modifications to the Pattern Thank You Ellie & Mac for delivering another fantastic pattern.

This pattern is fabulous! The instructions are so easy to follow and of course the back up of the video with Diana just makes the whole experience of making the jacket enjoyable. I haven’t used a button and don’t think I will on my first (practice) jacket! I am currently cutting out another in a size smaller and will include a button. I’m sure I will be making many more of these.
