I want you to love what you make and have fun making it.
I have only been sewing for about 8 months, so I know a lot of it could have been skill issues. However, I also feel like the pattern should be more thurough. On the ruffle shorts directions, it never tells you to sew the crotch seem, as an example...and following the pictures makes it look like you should sew it more like a skirt. I figured it out, but it could have been better explained, along with how to make a ruffle.
There is also an optional pocket piece that is never explained.
I did complete the romper, and it is cute, although it does look smaller than expected.
Pattern came together quickly. I love that I can use it for both my son and daughter, in their wide range of sizes. Money well spent!
