Pam – Social Media Manager, Virtual Assistant

Hey, everyone! I’m Pam and I have been happily married to my sweetheart Chad, for almost 17 years now. We have 3 wonderful children, 2 boys and a little girl. Their ages are 13, 7, and 3!

The first job I ever had was at a pharmacy where I worked for nearly 13 years as a CPhT. After having children, I decided to be a stay at home mom. I have always enjoyed taking pictures from a young age, but after buying my first digital camera, I really developed a new love for photography. I started out taking pictures of friends and eventually started taking on clients. I have really enjoyed my career as a Photographer and love being able to capture beautiful images for myself and others!

My mama first taught me to sew by hand when I was a little girl. I only sewed Barbie clothes (which weren’t very good!) or fixed buttons. After I had kids, I sewed a few small things for Halloween, but nothing big. Then, after my daughter was born I decided to buy my very first sewing machine. I started sewing regularly and loved it!

I completed my first pattern test in June of 2017, then joined Ellie and Mac’s testing pool the following July. I have since then, taken on a few behind-the-scene roles at EAM. I enjoy helping Lindsey admin her sewing group and have met several talented sewists along the way.

So, I hope you enjoy Ellie and Mac as much as I do! Take a look around... there’s something for everyone! Enjoy!

Manda – Customer Service Specialist

Hi there! I am Manda and I live in the Netherlands. Married to a gorgeous man and mother of a beautiful 3 years old girl. After getting my degree in Business Management & Economics, I’ve worked for 15 years or so in several jobs in management & HR consultancy.

Two years ago I became a stay-at-home mom and I love that I’ve got that opportunity. After my daughter was born, I discovered my passion for sewing and later on for pattern testing. YouTube and Facebook provided me with the tools to sew my first items. I love to keep learning, sewing brings me so much joy! Pattern testing is my second passion, the first test I did was for Ellie & Mac. I loved it so much that I sticked around! The pictures I take of my daughter in her outfits are becoming great memories already.

I am an admin at Ellie & Mac, working with Lindsey and her team is so much fun. She is a talented designer and I love being involved in this amazing company!!

Quilenthia – Virtual Assistant

Hello!! My name is Quilenthia Celeste Wingfield-Accime, Quilenthia or Quin for short. I am a 26 year old Wife to Rodney Accime, Mother to two girls (our flowers), Nova-Rose and Willow-Seles, and am currently expecting a baby boy. We reside here in a small North Georgia town and absolutely love it! I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, which I use by virtually assisting Lindsey here at Ellie and Mac. My sewing journey started in August 2016. Through the help of YouTube, Pinterest, Sewing Groups on Facebook, and PDF patterns, I was able to teach myself how to sew. Creating clothing has always been something I wanted to learn as a hobby but it has become so much more than that.

I tend to make a lot of coordinating outfits for my flowers and I. The elegance of Mommy & Me makes my heart full. As Ellie and Mac grows into Men's Patterns, I am able to add Rodney into that mix also and our baby boy when he arrives. Years to come I want them to have so many memories of us in our matching handmade outfits.

Stephanie – Pattern Step Photographer

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie! I am responsible for the tutorial step photos over here at Ellie and Mac, you may recognize me from some of the patterns! I often sew for my family of four. I am a stay at home mom to my two Minions in fabulous Las Vegas! You can usually find me rushing around town, sewing projects in tow, trying to get my kids to all of their activities! I learned how to sew from my grandmother as a young girl, but never thought of it as anything other than that, something I did with my grandma when I went to visit her. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter, in 2014, when I decided to buy a machine so I could make my own nursing pillow cover. You know, that popular “U” shaped one. From that one project, I was hooked! Once I discovered pdf patterns and knit fabrics (and mommy & me, my favorite!) there was no turning back!

I love my part of the testing process, and I love sharing what I make with Ellie and Mac patterns with you all! We all create such unique pieces with the same patterns, and it’s so beautiful to see within the group when people share their creations! Welcome to the site! I hope you find a pattern you like, and can make something beautiful for yourself or someone you love, you deserve it! Sewing is never selfish!

Heather – Pattern Writer

Hi I’m Heather Fletcher. 2017 was my first year of becoming a stay at home mom after working more than 15 years at the office doing accounting and writing audit reports.

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 8 years and we have three kids, two girls and a boy. Nathan (10), Melania (8) and Violet (11 months) I grew up in Florida and did my Accounting undergrad at the University of Florida (Go Gators) and obtained my Masters in Business Administration at Florida Atlantic University. Now I live all the way across the US in Southern California.

My background in math and technical writing helps drive my interest in sewing and patterns. I am a continuous learner and expand my sewing knowledge from every source that I can find.

I started seriously sewing after my first daughter was born. I loved all the cute boutique dresses and wanted to learn how to make them. I didn’t join social media until just a few years ago and when I did I found the world of pdf patterns. The first pattern test I ever did was for Lindsey in early 2016 & I’ve been testing for her ever since and have grown into helping her with pattern step writing and more.

I love being part of the Ellie and Mac team and seeing everyone’s creativity in the Facebook group. Ellie and Mac patterns provide so much variety there’s sure to be something for everyone

Felicia – Customer Service Specialist

My name is Felicia Kennedy, and I work as a customer service representative and pattern tester organizer for Ellie and Mac. I currently reside in VA with my amazing husband and 3 year old daughter.

I started sewing 2 years ago. My mother passed away and while I was looking through her belongings, I found a sewing machine. I thought it would be great to see some of my daughters clothes. Little did I know it started an obsession. I love Ellie and Mac Patterns, they are easy to understand at any level of sewing and they fit plus sizes. That was a win win for me. I hope you fall in love with Ellie and Mac patterns too.
