I’ve made 2 so far and both went together easily. My daughter got a puppy this summer and now the weather is turning cold. I made the medium for Halloween and now the large for a Christmas present. Both the daughter & the grand-dog love the hoodies. The hole for the leash is a perfect touch!
Falkor and I LOVED this pattern. I'm only sad we missed the 50% off sale. :0
As a new timer to sewing I found this so easy to follow. So cute!
The instructions are very clear for constructing The Hoodie. For our Dylan. I used a combination of red/black flannel and a red 4-way stretch knit. Although the pattern called for 100% 4-way stretch. I added 1/2" extra to the seam allowances for the back and cut the front in the red knit and it fits him perfectly and is very easy to get on and off. Being a boy, if I make this hoodie again, I will make the the Belly piece about 1" shorter just to be on the safe side for sanitary reasons. Dog with longer bodies may not need the shorten length, but Dylan does.
But, all in all, this hoodie is one of the best I've seen and I have about all the dog patterns you can own. I will make this pattern again. It was fun.
I made a super cute hoodie for my mums new puppy called Harley so obviously had to use Harley Davidson fabric. The pattern was super easy to follow and it turned out perfect
