My first E&M pattern! Big fan of the layering in Adobe to just print what you need. It comes with a shop file too, which I did use to print out the whole pattern on one sheet. Love the support group on Facebook for when I have questions.
I’ve been using this pattern in upcycling adult clothing into baby outfits. Love the little cowl neck on my 7 month old! Just made my 4th top/dress from the pattern. I’ve been using a less stretchy material than recommended and it’s worked just fine. I’ve tried several thicknesses of adult tee shirts and it worked with all of them.
I did have trouble with the back part of the sleeve pattern, the side that matches up to the back bodice. The curve is not long enough and doesn’t line up well with the bodice, requiring me to really force it to fit. The front part of the sleeve lines up perfect. I ended up altering that part of the pattern and I’ve had no issues since. That’s the only reason I’d give 4 stars instead of 5. It’s still one of my favorite patterns. Would love to make myself one!
I have made the girls version and it is so adorable on my girls. I did the cowl neck and my girls think it's the best thing ever to have a "scarf" attached to their shirt. It was a very easy pattern to sew and the directions were clear. I left of all the bands and our turned out adorable.
Thanks for another easy classic look. This pattern works up so quickly. The instructions are clearly written. The photos are spot on. I love how versatile this pattern is. Highly recommend this!
Thank you! 😊
